Video: Carmelo Anthony comes off the bench for Houston, goes off in the 4th

Carmelo Anthony came off the bench for the Houston Rockets for the first time in his career, during the span of which he has played in more than 1,000 regular season games.

We’re impressed at his willingness to not be included in the starting lineup. Even though in the first three quarters he was rather cold, only managing to score from his only third-quarter shot attempt, the 4th quarter might have been an indicative that this might be a role he could adjust to effectively. Anthony finished the game with 12 points on 5-11 shooting.

In the clip below you can watch Melo’s 4th quarter highlights:

We also all remember how back in OKC he was saying there’s no way he’s coming off the bench:

And if we were all in with Carmelo’s change of roles, Stephen A Smith doesn’t buy that Melo is ok with coming off the bench. Watch what he has to say about Anthony in the clip below:

What do you think? Will the PJ Tucker – Carmelo Anthony rotation hold up for the rest of the season?
